They have already set up the first (online) event to strengthen the collaboration among different healthcare professionals:

What: A medical case which is to be solved in groups of 6 to 10 people of mixed study-backgrounds under the supervision of a SHAPED-moderator

When: Wednesday 25th november 2020, 19:30

Who: Everyone who's interested in widening their horizon and solve a clinical case together with other professions

Time required: It is only the meeting itself (about 2 hours) + some preparation and some feedback time

SYHA

What happened to SYHA?

After different meetings and discussion it was decided that SYHA should remain as a platform for student organizations (such as swimsa, asep, psyCH and many others) to collaborate and exchange on institutional rather than interprofessional questions and issues and should therefore include mainly members of the executive board of these different associations, so they get to know each other and in turn whom to talk to in case of arising issues, new projects, etc.

This means the 'original SYHA' split up in two sections: One (SYHA) which allows the students organizations to work closer together and the other one (SHAPED) which will focus its energy on interprofessional education and is open to all students / young health-professionals to join.
