Free online premium educational services
The European Society of Radiology (ESR) has made the decision to make its high-quality content on ESR Connect and Education on Demand free for all. This decision comes amidst a growing need for radiology to unite as a profession in order to tackle the great challenges that the world is currently facing. The services, which will include full access to quality e-learning content, will be available for the next four weeks. The ESR has worked as fast and efficiently as possible to ensure that the services are available at very short notice.
The ESR understands that radiologists have a very significant role to play in the fight against COVID-19, helping to diagnose the disease, track its development and assess the effectiveness of various trial treatments for the virus. In keeping with its commitment to supporting the radiological profession, the ESR will offer free access to services which were previously only accessible with a subscription. On ESR Connect, entire topic packages with hundreds of hours of video material will be accessible, whilst on Education on Demand an extraordinary range of self-assessment, literature, video and European School of Radiology (ESOR) courses have been moved from the premium section to the free-to-use section with more content set to be added regularly.
